New on forum

Post by Jmcc »

Hi Forum,

I'm in Portugal, and changed 2weeks ago my old Thundercat to a new R1 ( old stock so no TC).
On my net searches of modifications on the R1 came across this very good forum.
Not that the R1 needs much, but just want to make it "my R1".
So got GB racing protections in,
Got a BMC standard filter, and Akrapovic Slip on (from Ebay) somewhere in Europe traveling to Portugal......

I normally ride on road and do 1 or 2 trackday per year (v expensive....), I'm not a fast.

Q: how do I load photos?

I have done in both Estoril and Portimao, more times in Estoril since it is near home (ie about 1 h), Portimao is about 3 h.
Portimao is nicer (in my opinion), with places that you can not see very far....so like a roller-coaster..
Looking forward to go on the next one with the R1; maybe 22/6 in Estoril ( have to convince the wife about getting safer and in control of such a powerful bike  ).

But the next big thing will be WSB on Sunday 9, in Portimao :) ...1st big journey for the R1, really looking forward for that.
