Re: newbie
i did a dozen or so races with ngrrc back in 2002/4 on a zx 6,and a couple of races on the 5pw one at thruxton which scared me to death !PJC wrote:Alreet Lee, welcome in. Bit of club racin do tell![]()
i wasn't that good really finishing in top twenty out of 40 .
got to that point which all racers reach when you start to crash alot so i gave up , and i was spending the mortgage money to race

just do trackdays now although only two this year park algar ,and silverstone ,my local track castlecombe wont let the 09 r1 on with full system or standard pipes !
i must admit though i do struggle with the 09 r1 on track but that could be my old age 48 now

Looks like we were racing at the same time Lee, never did North Glos races a bit too far from me
Can't say I gave up because of crashing, think I must have been lucky but defo get the spending the mortgage money
I am 47 and still fly about on the 4c8, think the 14B is a difficult beast on track, I am sure I will get stick for that one, but Jim will back me up
