Hi all
whassup peeps, Silverback here, I thought it was about time to join a forum with like minded souls for some enlightenment of all things R1. I'm a track-day addict and no longer ride on public roads. Living in the south east was the reason I gave up on the roads ( too bloody crowded). So now my pals and me confine ourselves to travelling around the country sampling the delights of our fine british circuits. my bike Is the 5vy R1 and I love it. Its been converted to a track bike and is a work in progress.

Re: Hi all
pretty much. I changed the cans and air filter and had the suspension done by MCT (well worth it). I also replaced the steering damper with a sprint and changed the sprockets so it gets out of the corners a little quicker She also wears asv levers that are brill and cheapo rearsets which was a mistake co's i should have bought some decent ones.

Re: Hi all
Haven't done Croft but have done Cadwell a few times. I do enjoy Cadwell but it's a bit of a bind getting there from London. Done most other Brit circuits apart from Thruxton (which is not open to bikes anyway), Croft (obviously), Pembrey, Lyden hill and Knockhill. I think I've done the rest. I surpose my favourites would be Brands GP, Silvestone GP, Donington (either), Mallory, and if you haven't tried it yet I'd give Anglesey a go, again it's a bit of a schlep but I liked it. My bogey circuit is Snett, the last time I was there I would have been better with a set of Knobblies on the bike, as I spent more time grass tracking, and almost high-sided coming onto the back straight. hopefully I'll crack it one day or it'll crack me. Also a bunch friends and me did the Nordschleif a few years back which was a blast and surreal at the same time. there were all manner of vehicles there, even a coach full of tourists, its one I can tick off the bucket list.
