Hello guys
Hi
Just stumbled across this site through google, it looks very informative so I decided to join in.
I have a 2009 R1, I bought it from new as my first litre bike. Got to say I do love it. I've done a few bolt on type mods, levers, cans, decat, screen, hugger etc.
I don't get to ride that often as I work abroard, that said I have put 12k on it in what really adds upto about 5 weeks a year.
I also have a '98 Ducati Monster M900, which I'm making my own and a BMW K1200GT, on my last holiday I took my mrs to Germany and France for a week on it.
Right, now it's your turn...

Thanks for the welcome guys, I live near Durham but work in Kuwait. Been out here for four years, but as the contract is almost over I'll be home next April if not before.
When I'm home I tend to cover North Yorks, Cumbria, Northumberland and a little Scotland, the A68 is good for blowing out the cobwebs.

Re: Hello guys
Thanks, I got the Monster around a year ago, days of boredom at work trawling bike sites awoke my interest, never really looked at them before, I found a standardish one for the right price and went to see it. I grinned all the way through the test ride and had to have it. I got the Beemer in March, it was an itch I had to scratch, if the mrs didn't like it it was going. Turns out she enjoyed it so it stays for now.Bub wrote:Hi Paul and welcome to the forum mate, nice selection of bikes you have there
