Hi all, new R1 owner from Lincolnshire.

Post by Andy J »

Hello chaps (chapess's). I'm Andy and I live in Lincolnshire and I am the proud owner of aN R1 5pw model. Not long had it, been looking for a nice 5pw for ages. I am not new to bikes though as I am now 49 and have been riding since 1979. Had nearly a hundred bikes in that time. Current bikes I own are the R1, Z750 and Speed Four. Oh and a Gixxer 750 K9 track bike. Looking forward to chatting with R1 owning forum members. Looks like a great forum to me. So hello once again.

Thanks for the welcome. I could have purchased any model R1, but to me, the 5PW model is by far the best looking R1 they ever made. I am certain it will be sought after in years to come.

Cheers. ;)

Thanks mate. Yes it is clean. I'd say mint for a 10 year old bike. I love it.

Cheers

Hi. Thanks for the welcome. Yes not only seen a 4c8 but had one previous to my 2009 ZX10R. Great looking bikes in themselves, exspecially the white one with red seats but not in my opinion as good looking as a nice 5pw. Power isn't everything though. Just my opinion. There ain't many bikes I have not had to be honest. I'm a buggar for buying them, thrashing em and selling em when I get bored. My Speed Four is the only bike that I can't/won't sell. Although my 5pw is also creating a space in my long term garage area.
