Thanks for the welcome.
My mates are now trying to convince me to get a Blade instead, arguing at 6ft3, 34 inch inside leg and some middle age spread it will cripple me. The Honda just leaves me cold though.
Its difficult to get a feel from a short test ride so is there anyone around of a similar size who can share their experience?

Blades are bland and boring and small, man are they small. I am 6.3 slimmer than you
but all blades apart from the foxeye crap are smaller than the R1's

You did in opening post, just chinny couldnt be arsed to read whole post
. As for the other bit , im 6 1" and 14stone and gind the r 1 just fine, commute everyday
