Recently bought a 2010 R1 ex race bike and did my first track session on it at Snetterton on 28th Oct , yep the day of the big storm !
After they pumped out a couple of the corners we were allowed out on a very wet track ...
I have owned and ridden many bikes but nothing like the crossplane crank R1 ! , erm is it a twin or is it an inline four ?
Basically its awesome and I can`t wait to get back to Snett on the 24th of this month to ride it again , looking at doing a seasons racing next year on it with no limits .....
Just sent the ECU off to Veloxracing to have it flashed , remove the engine braking and all the other mods mike can do so I`m hoping for some pleasant results when I ride it again ....
I`ll update the results of the ECU flash after doing Snett at the end of the month ...
