Welcome in Rob
So what you after ? fancy one of the early R1's before they become to collectable & get alot of bang for your buck or are you looking more towards the sleeker 14b & the pose factor ?

Hi
I'm not sure on models but do want an underseat 1
I always wanted a 98my in blue but for the same money buying a newer bike seems the sensible choice as i wouldn't want to keep it for years just so it becomes collectable - a bike is for riding :D

Welcome in m8, not sure you could describe the 14 series as sleek. well not with them standard pipes

Underseat bikes start in 04 as the 5 valve 5vy, then the 4c8 16v mota 6 pots is the give away then you have the Cross plane, all great bikes just depends on what you like.

Ask away, this could get messy

Under seat pipes are great, keep you warm in winter.

Welcome to the forum Rob, have a look at all the pics of the bikes on here & see what you like best. Test ride some if you can & pick the one you like best. If your gonna mod it , it may work out cheaper if you find one with a few bits already added

Thanks everyone :)

I prefer the underseat pipes as i had them on the STR - gives a bit more room in the garage as well :D
