Newbie time.

Post by Bat Fastard »

Hi,
Quick Hello.

Just about to pick up a new R1. 8-)

Last R1 I had was a an 05 Model. Before that had an 98 model. Both were the muts nuts. Currently have an 2010 mod Gsxr 1000 that will be going soon. Had that for last three years and its time for a change. Really fancy a xplane this time round.

Also have a Duc 916 modded with a 1098s engine thats cool to ride. More off a track bike than anything else.

New R1 should be with me in next few days. Cant wait.

2013 R1. Flash tuned with custom fuel map. MCT modded suspension. De cat pipe with race cans. HM quickshifter. Brembo RCS M/C....more to follow ;)

:)
Thanks for welcome.

An answer to questions, I have gone for the grey colour scheme and have got a pair of leo vince evo II cans to fit for the time being. Wanna get some miles on it, get it run in and then see how things go. Prob fit a de cat pipe and then adjust the fueling on the Dyno later. ( Have been reading up on Flash Tune )

I have a HM Q/S plus and Brembo RCS Brake master cylinder from my old bike to fit at some point. Then will look at getting the suspension sorted at MCT. Prob wont do to much more other than ride and ( Enjoy it ) maintain it.

I have loads of pics of my build on my Ducati 916/1098 so will pop a few on for anyone thats interested later.
