Hi All,

Joined the forum back in March last year after the much missed old site disappeared up its own arse but never actually got round to saying hello. Old username was jprabaker probably and I've got the 08 blue, so no questions, it's the quickest colour...

Got a few techie questions to ask and the urge to start pimpin' again When I figure out my way round and how to post up pics I'll get started, till then hope the old users are about and the banters the same...

It's pretty much the same as it was only busier in winter than the old site , Scrappys still crashing bikes ( not for a while ) Bubs is still short & Jon's still ginger ! Robbie and a couple of others are still MIA unfortunately , not much piss taking goes off honest

Here is my ride, back in 2008. The ugly fekker is not me but he turned out to be a little quicker round Malory.

STill, I never learn so here we are back out at Oulton Park a couple of years back:



The extra bling is a bit limited, as the rebuild costs were a bit step and still a work in progress. Extras are Akrapocovic slash cuts with the decat, nice little carbon heat shield, gear indicator and a bazzaz FI/TC slipper clutch gizmo. Plus a new Yammy rear seat pod came today, replacing the scuffed pillion seat. Happy days. Did have a TomTom GPS installed but it stopped charging when heading out to Dam last year. That was fun, using a map ffs

At the moment the rear end is in bits, trying to re-wire the bazzaz loom so it fits better, and sorely tempted to remove the alarm that's cost me 2 batteries since new lol But this will probably get done by a garage as I'm lazy/useless with any sort of mechanics. Guess I'll stuff it all back in and hand over some cash

Thanks, that was the spot coming down the hill before you start turning in, not the best place to come off

The bazzaz gizmo is quite cool, not too intrusive unless you turn it all the way up and then you can feel it cutting the engine. Most of the time you only know it's working when indicator lights up... Quickshifter needed replacing after about 18 months through as the cable had been rubbing and had worn through. Have it mostly unplugged at the moment as I'm trying to re-route the cabling inside the frame, as going outside it's a little short Think I need to fully remove the air box unit etc to get this done which is a pisser.
