R1 Newbie

Post by AdamR1 »

Picked me up my 1st R1 Tuesday after owning 8 GSXR's

Its a 2007 model in black with only 2300 miles on the clocks, is absolutly mint, is pretty standard at the mo, have add 6000k HID's, LED sidelights, ohlins steering damper, tail tidy and little number plate (although not pictured) pillion pegs and saftey stickers removed

Thought id sign up and come and say hi, im sure i'll be bugging you lot with questions in the near future with this being my 1st R1

Well... here she is :D

Welcome in Adam, lovely 4c8 you have there, some nice mods already. That mileage is mad I did that in 6 days last year   I guess you will be after some pipework and a Flashtuned ECU next (there you go Mike ;) )

Enjoy the site

Cheers mate, only been riding it a few days but have gel'd so well with it, finding a decent exhaust for it is proving difficult, someone else mentioned about flash tuned ecu to me but didn't go into detail, is this the way foward then?

I'm after two brothers but the black series, can only seem to get them from America, looking at a 4 week wait though, it was that or twin carbon racefits, not too keen on the akrapovics or yoshimuras for this model
