Saltire Motorcycles Edinburgh
Just back from Saltire after getting the headlamp recall done. Must say I was impressed with the set up they have there. Mike at the service department seems very knowledgeable and I believe he owns a R6. I would certainly use them again if needed. I had used them in the past but at there old premises when they were only a Suzuki dealer. The 2014 14BE in white looks nice!

They got one of the best showrooms around here for sure. Plenty of bits including some higher end parts which is nice to see. Staff have always been pretty friendly. They wouldn't give me the recall parts though. U go for a run or just there and back?

I was over there the other weekend - to see what setup they have there, as I have a bit of a moral dilema about using Alan Dufus in Kirkaldy.
Carrick Yamaha in Edinburgh are a joke.
So - handy to have a decent Yamaha dealer on my doorstep, so to speak.

Was quite impressed with the showroom. I noticed the Rizoma stand and they seem to have all the other aftermarket stuff covered too. I just went there and back along the motorway, pretty windy today so no extra detours.Gucci wrote:They got one of the best showrooms around here for sure. I thought Carrick had lost their Yamaha dealership Al? It was my understanding Saltire got it in place of Carrick? Would make sense as no point having 2 Yamaha dealers in Edinburgh and none in Glasgow.blackal wrote:I was over there the other weekend - to see what setup they have there, as I have a bit of a moral dilema about using Alan Dufus in Kirkaldy.

Used Saltire a few times for bikes including my new R1, always a pleasure to deal with and they are the only dealers I have faith in.
I got a dig bick. You this read wrong. You read that wrong too.
