Hi all

As the title says this is my first post in this forum although I've been watching for a while. I have a fairly clean and standard 4XV, only things non-standard are the Ohlins rear shock and steering damper. I bought it to do track days but then liked it too much I don't want to damage it.
Anyway off now to think of something to ask.

Welcome in Brendan, this is a good forum, lots of peels willing to help one and other out, lots of good humoured banter and p!ss taking, but at the end of the day we support one and other,
. We love pics on here so post some pics of your ride :P

Thanks for the welcome guys, I did used to be on another forum which suddenly disappeared. Had the R1 for a 3 years or so now but not used it much as I've had other bikes which have taken most of my road time but now I'm down to just the R1 so hoping it'll see some more miles this year.

Welcome back then bud
They're a sharp eye'd bunch this lot , you'll find a fair few from the old yamahaR1 forum on this forum as Mike , Jon & Bub quickly formed this forum after the old one went down , inviting the old forum members to join . . . . . . . . . . . . still can't work out why it took a year to get my invite
