Maybe I should've added a bit more info in my introduction post. I hired a 2009 R1 (in blue) last year and did 2000 miles across the Pyrenees on it and loved every second of it. Sure it wasn't as batshit crazy as my ZX10R, but I think thats part of the appeal, its more usable on the road, easier/calmer to ride but pretty much just as fast. I loved the power delivery and hence I'm after one, rather than going for another ZX10R.
As for cosmetics (RE: Exhausts etc.) I'm not fussed, I don't really care what it looks like over power and sound, they're far more important.
White with red frame is my first choice, looking for one with exhausts or will take one with stock pipes for £500 less (as thats about the going rate on eBay at present.)
