Welcome in billy, what bike have you got. Give us some details of your bike and post up some pics.

Welcome to the uk forum, we have a very British, or should I say, English, Scottish, Welsh and Irish sense of humour on here, peeps help one and other out and lots of good humoured banter.

to be honest we don't deal too much with thunderpuss's on here & i don't know of any issues & my Mrs who managed the parts & garage depts for a yam dealer says she can't think of any .
did they have an Exup valve ? if they did check that but watch out for bolts sheering

No it does not have a Exup valve, the bike is pretty mechanically sound except for slipping out of second gear, that's something I need to look into

The slipping out of second gear could mean the gearbox has bent dogs, not a cheap fix but easy enough in the right hands

Nice pics billy.... Jompy will like them in particular as he is a tad eccentric ...... Fir some reason he buys a beautiful r1 and then takes all the fairings off to improve the looks......

Seriously we are all here to chip in with answers to any questions you may have so don't be afraid if asking. You maybe on the other side of the pond but hell.... That makes no difference. ..... Other than we drive on the right side of the road..... Which is the left and you drive on the wrong site of the road.... Like they do in Europe which is right

Good look with sorting the bike out and please keep us posted
