Wishing you all good afternoon from a wet and windy Essex.
Just joined,my name is Jamie and Im a 43yr old father of 3 kids and cant wait till they all go back to school lol.
Dont know what else to say....Oh yeah,like all bikes especially R1,s lol.

Thanks lol,had it 6 years....just got it back from its 24000 mile service :D
Bikes I have had zxr400 h2,zxr 750 h2,cbr 600 f3,zx 6r f3 and 2 srad 750s.
Dont mind a bit of banter either tbh :lol:

Yeah,dunno why,I prefer the carbed versions tbh :D
Mine is more than enough for my ability :lol:
CRM 250,sticky tyres ,great fun round town and twisties :clap:

yeah i'm the same bud , love my carbed 4xv & it's more than enough for me !
i did stick Avon Gripsters on the CRM for a while but also hooned around on it with knobblies & had great fun but green laning's where its at for me & the CRM , i'll have it back on the road , its a bloody fun bike :)

worth a try mate , maybe do a one dayer where they hire you the bike & kit just to try it out but tbh i think you'll love it

Green lanin is great mate,give it a try,great for winter riding :D

Hi and welcome,got 4 here,well did have,to have flown and i got 2 large dogs in as replacements,lol..
afew of us are in Essex,so keep an eye out..

I prefer them because when I open the bike and remove the tank I know what the bits are... also keeps costs down for me as I self service.... Fnar fnar.... Welcome nice bike...
Riding an R1 is a little like poking a hibernating bear up the arse with a stick, when you doing it, its great fun but when you get caught out it will f**k you up!

Welcome in Jamie, this is a good furum and Jon makes a great dad ... He makes our spelin rite wen we get it rong .
