Steve, 1471 is my number. I am really enjoying the banter on here all ready.
I am ex navy a helicopter engineer but spent many years working on the Army Lynx. I loved my time In the Navy but after 24 1/2 years thought it was time for a change.
Although Project Managing for a brewery supplier company has many benefits

Why are you selling such a beautiful bike, if you sell now as peeps say you will. Loose a shed load, if you keep her in mint condition she will be worth a mint in years to come .... How many years I don't know, but she will become a collectors item.
Regards being an ex squaddie
it's peeps like you that keep the rest if us safe, pingping is in the services and we all respect him as well.
Stick around the forum, we are a mad bunch but we are a good bunch and we look after each other ..... That's something you will know a lot about. Family and kids is what life is all about.....enjoy the kids as they grow up as it happens all too quickly, if you can only get on your bike occasionally, and you can afford to keep her, what's the issue, sheis there fir you to ride whenever you want. I know I would never sell my anniversary R1..,. What vim working on now is how I get the boss to agree to me having a third bike..... Like who needs two R1's...... Me when the new one comes out

+1
Love your little gems Steve , you often put into words what I'm thinking

Haha just been busy with new job in westlands mate, they may know how to build helicopters but they know sh#t all about gas, oil and aircon. Been on the bike a few times but not as much as I want. Maybe we could get a few of us out down this way now we have another resident around the exclusive area of Yeovil.
I'm sure I could handle a ride with an ex chock head lol

Stuff that mate after seeing how this lot build them and you lot fixed them I now know why firstly I fixed ships so when they crashed on the flight decks I was safe ad sound in my engine rooms and secondly when I was abseiling out of them on to the decks of tankers in the gulf it was better to stay on them and sail back to port rather than get back on the helo and fly back to the rusty war canoes haha
