New from Birmingham

Post by Dj.hanks »

Hi all,

Recently brought my 1st 1000 and had to be the Yamaha R1. Opted for the 2014 model as I aint sure yet if I am a lover of the new 15 plates front end.

Not long been riding, previous bike was a 2009 Suzuki GSXR 600 which I loved to bits but this is something different.

Maybe see you all soon

Welcome in mate. The R1 will be a lot quicker than your 600 so take it easy and enjoy. Get some pics up of the new toy!

Welcome to the forum Dan and enjoy your 14be , they are an awesome bike with a soundtrack to die for. I know what you mean about the new models front end and I have thought long and hard about changing having had the 14b and then 14be since they came out seven years ago, anyway next week my bike is being swapped for the new model, any questions you have just ask, peeps on here are helpful and friendly

Welcome

Hi the bike looks awesome iv saw it before to be honest I nearly brought it for my self but the cash wasn't ready did you buy it on eBay off a seller called dickie_24 my Freind was on his way to buy it once I decided I had to wait but he changed his mind and brought a Honda fireblade instead. I'm just outside of Birmingham if you ever fancy a ride out always looking for someone to ride with. I'm new to a 1000cc as well just brought a 2014 r1 the same in white.
