Hello to all, well I ordered a R1m last year and she's now waiting to be registered in my local dealer.
Which might not happen for me due to me struggling to get insurance for her?????
Really shocked and pissed off at the moment!!!!

Welcome along mate,
Sorry to hear your struggling with the insurance, someone somewhere will insure you depends how deep your pockets are, fairly deep if you brought the M

Re: Hello all
Welcome to the forum, there is a thread on insurance for the M somewhere, I went through the comparison web site route, go compare, money supermarket etc etc.. I went with MCE in the end, I had just enough for a pint of beer from 300 quid, so was happy.
All the best with the search and I hope you get something sorted

Re: Hello all
Welcome in mate. Shop around and play with the value of the bike after all you will lose 20% as soon as you ride it out the showroom.
Or take a higher excess (not ideal but might soften the blow for the first year). Good luck anyway.

Hi, welcome to the forum.
You can afford a £18,500 R1m but not the insurance? Young? High risk? or something?
Hope you get it sorted.
Dave.

Re: Hello all
Welcome to the forum Craig and I hope you get your insurance sorted. Are you fitting any extras on your bike as that can have a big impact on insurance? As Locke said, play around with the value and excess, also as Pmc.R1 said try the comparison websites, you will find someone. I'm with IAM surety it's worth giving them a call as they also insure non members . Good luck and I lol forward to seeing pictures of your R1M when you pick her up
