Great first post with a pic but tell us a bit about your biking history so we can get to know you
Some nice roads down around uttoxeter , I used to ride down from derby to there then ride the country lanes to Stone
Welcome to the forum Gav, I can see your Anniversary will be well looked after, I see you have been polishing her with autoglym , these new R1's are a cracking bike she will be perfect for the roads around Buxton

Then I had a GSXR 750 K6 which was a really good bike, but it was never what I wanted.
I've always wanted an R1 since my older brother mate bought a brand new one in 99' when I was 12 and now I've finally got one.
I've also got a wr400 and go green laning up around Buxton when I get chance.

I think you'd best get some pics up of the WR sharpish
There's a few of us with greenlaners & motards on here , Godders has just bought a WR , Maverick has WR in trick supermoto trim , ginger Jon from belper has an XR400 , Alex_H around the donington area has a ktm and I'm trying to finish off my CRM250 and have been offered a gas gas pampera for the wife .

I had the front sprocket nut come off my half-one but I was lucky that it only hit the rear tyre , I'd hate to think the damage it could do at the speed I was doing !

It spat all its oil over the rear tyre. I was lucky because I wasn't hanging about

Have close look Jompy, that was at Cadwell last week .
Nice scrappy , no nut
Had the bolt holding the front on my Kim Duke II sheer off & sprocket come off too , when it happened on the half-one I made a new sprocket cover & crankcase protector
