I first had an R6 which loved, but the nut came off the front sprocket and smashed hole in the crankcase!

Then I had a GSXR 750 K6 which was a really good bike, but it was never what I wanted.

I've always wanted an R1 since my older brother mate bought a brand new one in 99' when I was 12 and now I've finally got one.

I've also got a wr400 and go green laning up around Buxton when I get chance.

I had the front sprocket nut come off my half-one but I was lucky that it only hit the rear tyre , I'd hate to think the damage it could do at the speed I was doing !

It spat all its oil over the rear tyre. I was lucky because I wasn't hanging about

The front sprocket nut on my KTM 640 actually split in half, but I never even noticed until I was changing the sprocket again, which was nice :)

Love the anniversary!

Nice scrappy , no nut
Had the bolt holding the front on my Kim Duke II sheer off & sprocket come off too , when it happened on the half-one I made a new sprocket cover & crankcase protector

Seems like a common problem. The nut on the 4xv came loose after fitting a new sprocket, but the lock washer stopped it coming off.
