Welcome in mate. I not going into the whole 14B debate, I've owned my 2009 for over 3 years and the only problem I've had was a new battery to solve the lazy starting issue. I would go for a later model model with TC. As said try before you buy.

Welcome to the forum Jamie, I owned three big bangs , two 14b's and a 14be over seven years and did 55 to 60k miles on them. As Colin says go fir a later one, the 14be with traction control. They sound amazing and are a very rewarding bike to ride. The throttle can be a bit snatchy but that's easily sorted with a flash tune or a power commander and custom map. As peeps have said, test ride before you buy and test ride a few different ones, so you can get the feel of the bike. They are a bike that some people hate with a passion and others love to bits, I fell into the latter category, I think they are an amazing machine and as I say a very rewarding bike to ride

Welcome and good luck with your search for the perfect banger :D

Hi, welcome to the forum.
I both disliked and loved my one. A very charasmatic bike, but depending on your riding style and requirements, you may find fault with the suspension, steering, fuelling and clutch(clutch is a relatively cheap mod to fix).

Or if your riding style is different you may actually like it ;)
