Parts

Post by G00G00 »

Hi,

Looking for some help, new to the site and needing some bits for my 4c8, nose fairing, clutch casing, levers and rhs headlight. Cant post in parts due to not having enough posts.

Hi there,

Been away for Internet there for a bit. 30 year old bloke from
Rainy Loch Lomond area. Been on 99 zx6r with carb problems and finally sorted that project out, moved onto zx636 which I enjoyed. Then through travelling and women issues I was without a bike for a while. Snapped up a mates gsxr 600, 2000 plate as I felt sorry for it in a shed and gave it some tlc, until I again had no machine and bought my pride and joy r1 in 2012 as again I couldn't resist, lying in the back of a work shop with no miles and no one taking care of her.

Came off her on my first run of the season, greasy road in Glasgow. Got caught out, angry at myself. Put a small hole on the rhs clutch casing, and still trying to source and nose
fairing. Self employed and things have been slow,a mate is trying to give me a couple grand for her, low miles and only a couple scuffs. Looking for any suggestions on parts, or is it the obvious online. Have picked up most parts already and enjoying putting it back together, some together time with my old man as well.

Cheers for reading and hope I haven't bored anyone.

Cheers,

Willy

Bruised hip was more pride that took a hit. Looks like I'll be riding a scruffy bike this year, nose fairing and rhs clutch casing needed. Small oil leak on the casing, not sure if some liquid steel would stem it in the mean time whilst I source another cheap cast OEM part.
