hi everybody,
my name is jim, i live in coventry, west midlands, england.
bought my first r1 last month, very happy i did. probably fastest bike i have had.
previous couple of bikes were gsxr 750 and 1100, but glad i moved over.

thanks for all the replies chaps.
i got the bike for £1500 10 months mot.
will keep her for a few years i think. i had an fzr 1000 a few years back i had that for 3 years.
