Hi, welcome to the forum
I wondered why you would have the red bits on a stealth R1...until I saw the chicken :D
Nice bike...and as Chappo says, great to see a chicken in a first post.
Do you have any chicken-fish?

No fishes, lol. The red MUST be done away with. Those front rotors are the next thing, just outta money for the time being. :violin:

with regards to the chickenfish there are two common variants to look out for...

The second one to be found more prevalent in urban areas obviously

Welcome in Chris. Man I would hate to live where you have only straight roads. I hope there are tracks close so you can enjoy the full R1 experience. Where abouts in Texas are you??

Go on then Trump, your thoughts

Uggg.....this presidential election cycle. Im a pretty liberal guy in generael buy there no way i can get behind Trump or Hilly. Im more of a Gary Johnson fellow i think. Was a Bernie fan but that sorta fell through :shifty:

Im an hour north of Dallas, on the Oklahoma/Texas border. Theres one track called Eagles Canyon Raceway (http://eaglescanyon.com/) about 40 miles away but its in need of an investor and repairs unfortunately (was unaware of this when i bout the bike), so hopefully that gets resolves as its a great track, i corner worked back in 2008 when i had a broken collarbone from the R6. The next closest one is the Texas Speedway which is an oval track im pretty sure. Im chomping at the bit to get on a solid track with some reliable turns rather than these rural paved roads we've got here.

Trump or Clinton? Christ, what a choice...or lack of!
That's how politics works though isn't it? It's no better here. They're doing everything they can to ridicule and discredit Corbyn, poor fella gonna have an uphill struggle.

My choice at the moment. I took the stock antennas off and had to get something to pass inspection as a mirror is/are req'd. I dont dig the look but i like the look of OEM mirrors even less. Its a delima. A CRG lanesplitter is what it is and i only have the one on the throttle bar. Choices to be made for sure.

Welcome to the forum Chris, cracking opening post and pics too, that could almost have been an English country lane in the first pic, though it is too straight. The 15 R1's are a cracking bike and are very rewarding to ride.

Regarding politics, it seems to be a bugger's muddle where ever you look, over in your neck of the woods, over here and I think it will kick off next year in France and Germany when they have their elections

Pete, I think corbyn will win, it's what will happen next that's uncertain. Clearly from the referrendum result, parliament is out if touch with the people

Oh am I the only person who liked the pic if the chicken? What's it's name?

Welcome Chris.

Hehe. This chicken is literally called "b1tch chicken" because she's overly aggressive while on the nest. The other one is the nice one. Its ok, i steal their eggs. Theyre buff Orpingtons in case anyone is curious... I know one of ya is a chicken fucker.

Yeah sadly Eagles Canyon is all i got thats near. Im gonna have to make it a mission to go on a search for some twisties. The track looked good in 2008 when i last went. But that IS 8 years ago. Hopefully they redo the entire thing, talking upwards of $10 million.

This blue sky right now comes with 100+ degree temps. What is that in Celsius? 37+C. Tad warm here. Stupid warm.
