Newbie from Norfolk Hunstanton

Post by maverick »

Hiya all...I',m new to forum, but not to bikes...I have been riding mainly sports bikes for the the 29 years, now 45yo :(...Anyway started off with an RD50m and went right through the RDLc range from the 50cc-500v4..Great bikes and still have a soft spot for the 2t's even now, in fact let my last 350lc go around 4 years ago due to,to much hassle from her indoors with me spending all my spare time in the garage and not with her.....

Anyway reluctantly went onto 4 strokes in around 1994 after the government fazing out all the 2 stroke sports bikes..Which is still a massive shame :( And went for a 1990 fzr600 and then a year later onto a 1000 exup, which I kept up until 2000 and then onto the R6,which in my mind was one of the finest bikes of all time as was so usable on the Norfolk roads...And then in 2006 went and chopped the R6 in for a 2004 R1 (under seat)...Now I still have the R1 for a week or so,but I have just chopped that in for the R1 cross plain and that should be with me next week...And cant wait  ...I will post a piccy or two of the R6 and R1 but the rest of the bikes I have owned I never had a digital camera so only got polaroids and no scanner ....Anyway thats me in a nut shell and hope to have a bit of banter with you lads and lasses...

Cheers Clive (maverick)
