Carb float needed 2000 5jj?

Post by Clackarelli »

Hi
I'm new to the forum though I've shared the R1 with my brother for the last 10 years. It's standard except for a can and an ohlins rear shock. It's done about 40,000 of fast touring around europe and is looking a bit tired. I managed to snap a float (brothers fault ) and was wondering if anyone on here had one to sell?
Thank you

Welcome in Rob
If you don't have any luck on here try Allen's performance in Bingham , it's been a long time since I've used them but they were very helpful
http://www.allensperformance.co.uk
Or fowler's
https://www.fowlersparts.co.uk/parts/55 ... carburetor
Or partzilla from the good old us of A can be cheaper sometimes even with postage if your not in a hurry , just beware of customs charging you import tax

65 quid FFS!

It will be a standard Mikuni part. There are a number of carb parts places in the US but I don't know about the UK.
