New 4xv owner
New 4xv owner
Hows ig going lads, I'm the owner of a very sad 4xv thati'm hoping to bring back to its former glory, the lad who had it before me decided to spray it black all over with out taking the bike apart and it looks sh!t, i've stripped it down and sh'es on her way back to what she once was. Its a 4xv but it has a 5jj front end that took a hit so i need a few parts like front fairing and bracket which i can get off fleebay but the head light is proving hard to come accross, maybe someone could point me in the right direction to buy one (cheep if possable), look forward to hearing from yiz.

Welcome in bud
You say he sprayed it without stripping it first ! The heathen !
It's amazing what some people will do to a beautiful bike .
Well it's sounding like it's going to be areal labour of love ,as for the front head light don't worry about it just ditch it along with all that expensive crap plastic & streetfighter it
Oh & the forks I got mine from a breakers for £200 so try not to pay any more for standard , quite a few people might tell you you can get them a lot cheaper

Hi mate and welcome to the forum, be interested to see some pics of how the bike looked when you first got it, as Luke mentioned i think Billing has a set of headlights for the 4XV for sale.

Theres a couple of ways, but the easiest is to use a image hosting site such as Photobucket or similar,or you can find the pic on the tinternet and copy the URL,then click on the IMG tab along the top,and paste in the URLBuddner wrote:Lads how do i put upa few pictures, this forum set upis a bit different to what i'm used to?

The Front headlight and fairing are from a 5jj but the bike is a 4xv. The fairing i have fixed but the headlight is shgged. I've checked flee bay but there seems to be every year of headlight exept for a 5jj, does anyone know where i can buy one thats not mad expensive???
