Newbie from Dublin
Hi there, Just signed up last night and having a lot of un as well as learning a lot already !!! Been biking for more than 40 years now and picked up an `08 R1 a few months back, actually a UK import !!! Loving it so far and made at least 20 changes to it, to personalize it so to speak, and also to make it fit me better for moderate raod use. Its been a very enjoyable project. ( Somebody tell me how to upload a pic pls !!! ) I have a few other bikes, mostly Yammies, but also a Kawa ZRX. Cant wait for the Spring and some decent weather to get out and enjoy this bike in my local area ( Wicklow ). Always lots of UK bikers passing through the area from May to October, espc Laragh and the Wicklow Gap/ Glendalough area if any of you have heard of it. Anyway, cheers to all.

Do not confuse my personality with my attitude. My personality is who I am. My attitude depends on who you are............

Thanks for the comment. Yeah, I put a set of Apex risers on it and for me, made the bike a lot more comfortable. These are 4 inch risers, and I am using 3 inches of whats available. The bars are also set wider than the stockers, which suits me a lot better.

More sensible that putting the "wheel weights" on the outer rim though lanky
