Hi all
Hi everyone,
I joined the forum a few weeks ago and was hoping to introduce myself with some pics of my bike, (R6 07 2CO), but due to work and weather I haven't been able to get any decent pics.
Richard - but everyone calls me Griff

The R6 is the first bike I have owned or ridden in 15 years, (wife, house, kids etc), but have never fallen out of love with them, (always read the mags, followed the racing etc).
So.........time I had another then.
I didn't read any road tests etc, I bought the R6 purely because I liked the look of it and I figured any modern bike would be more than a match for my meagre talent.
As for the R6 ride, I can only describe it as very similar to an RGV250 but with a little more weight and a lot more power!!
As for my previous bikes these are the ones I can remember;
Honda C70
Honda SS50
Suzuki AP50
Yamaha 50 Chopper style - can't remember the model
Suzuki GT125 Twin
Yamaha TZR125
Kawasaki KH250 x2
Honda 400/4
Yamaha RD350LC
Yamaha TZR250
Honda CB900
Suzuki RGV 250
Looking forward to some friendly banter and better riding weather as I've only done 30 miles since owning her.
Regards to all and thanks to Luke03R1 for the pm
P.s - can I be added to the map please.

Re: Hi all
Welcome griff. Like you I had a long abcence off yhe bikes (20yrs) and I jumped straight on an r6 a couple of years ago. Loads of fun and I hope we get a great year for riding as well as last year was pretty much a wash out
