hi people i'm a bit stuck,i got a 99 4xv

the shift shaft tab was broken off i found last week,,so i went to the box my buddy gave me with the bike,that has a spare gearbox and bits in..and a spare shift shaft.

only thing is the shift shaft i have spare is longer than the one i took off.so i had to ...

and standard one,so i took it off him,,,had a few little problems ...
